You can create inserts that could be used both as a basement or holder. The inserts are made from a cross-shaped sheet of paperboard folded on each side. It is possible to add custom cutouts on the insert in order to contain and hold your products inside the box.
You can proceed with the purchase of the insert in the CREATE section of Packly.
To add cuts/creases/perforations, download your custom size dieline. The cutouts must be entered on the die-cut template layer, attributing a spot color corresponding to the type of change required (in the order cut, crease, perforation):
The “Custom-Cut” spot color must be set to the stroke selecting fill “none”.
The name of the spot color must be written exactly as above, while you can choose the display color you prefer based on your design. At the moment the change on the die-cut template is not visible in the 3D preview.
You can proceed with the purchase of the insert in the Packly CREATE section. You can customize it with the size you prefer. For inserts with an H-value between 5mm and 10mm (included) in the template, perforation has been added, so as to facilitate folding and, therefore, correct functionality.
If the insert is unprinted with maximum 4 standard cutouts (such as square, rectangle, triangle, etc.) you have to send us an email, after placing the order, attaching the die-cut template with the cuts and also specifying the order reference.
If, on the other hand, you need more than 4 cutouts or cutouts with particular shapes, not regular, send an email to the support team attaching the die-cut template of your custom insert before proceeding with the order. In this way the support team will be able to verify the feasibility and let you have a custom quote.
Additional cutouts should be placed:
- at least 10mm away from the side fold lines of the insert for SBS and SBS PE coated
- at least 15mm away from the side fold lines of the insert for Corrugated
Cutouts cannot be less than 3mm in width and height. In the case of multiple cutouts, the above distances must also be maintained between holes.
Download the die-cut template of the insert and add the cutting holes composed of lines, following the procedure explained above (add a spot color named
